Over the last quarter century, technological advancements have drastically changed the way we communicate, get our information, and do business. Because of these advancements, business owners are now able to market their products and services to a broader audience. Using the internet, businesses can direct current and prospective customers to either their website, social networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter, and/or post company videos on YouTube. With these tools at their disposal, businesses can educate people about what makes their company great. With more and more people turning to the internet for their needs, face-to-face contact between consumers and businesses has declined. Because of this decline, businesses rely on excellent customer service and quality phone contacts. According to a 2008 call center article on customer service, “85% of consumers would stop doing business with a company based entirely on poor experience with their phone support infrastructure.” Another 50% say bad call experiences have partly contributed to the termination of their business relationship. In order to help keep consumers happy, businesses have turned to on-hold messages, which have proven to reduce caller hang ups by up to79%.

Improvements in telephone messages have been a byproduct of the technological boom. While a decade ago most businesses were still using cassette tapes, CD’s, and floppy discs to load their programs, today we can get your program to you in a more efficient and less costly manner. With the introduction of USB players such as the OMG-USB60, we can email clients their program. In doing so, we cut down on shipping costs— savings we pass down to our clients. Other benefits to using USB players include improved quality of the program and durability of media. While cassette tapes, floppies, and CD’s break easily and are outdated, ‘thumb drives’ used in USB players can last years. So move into the 21st century with us and let us help grow and market your business.
