From the time Debbie Feldman was in college, she was destined to become a professional voice talent. Debbie graduated from the prestigious American University in Washington DC with a major in Speech Arts and a minor in Radio and TV Broadcasting. While in college, Debbie worked as a copygirl in the newsroom at WRC/NBC. She moved on to become an assistant to the Promotions Director and then assistant to the TV Community Affairs Director. After a stint with a PR Firm, Debbie went on to start her own business. It was not until then that she realized her true passion.
While owning a maternity and children’s store in Maryland, Debbie started doing some radio advertising to promote her business. This is when, in her own words, she “became fascinated by the world of voiceovers.” Her newfound interest led her to seek out voicing professionally. Unfortunately, nothing ever came of it until she moved to Florida. There she took a voiceover class with the renowned voice talent Connie Zimet, who was truly a pioneer in the South Florida market. After taking her courses, and getting invaluable lessons, Debbie was off and running.
Since 1988, Debbie has voiced programs and commercials for the likes of US Airways, Atlantis Paradise Island, Sears, Citrix Systems, Fox Health Network, Comcast, Microsoft (in-house tutorials), Wachovia, Jewish Journal, Miami Herald and hundreds of hotels around the world, plus thousands more for every business imaginable.
She joined our team here at OMG National twelve years ago and is our most widely picked talent. Debbie says, “I like being creative and using my God-given talents. The most fulfilling part of my job is knowing that I’ve done my best. I’m lucky to be doing a job that I love. Not many people can say that. I’m living my dream and am thrilled to be able to do the work I’m doing.” Debbie’s enthusiasm and great work makes her an integral part of OMG National.
